Beautiful Family Moments — Through Children's EyesByZhang Jiamin June 23, 2022
"The family is the basic unit of society, and the first school that we attend in life. Regardless of how the times change, or how our lives are transformed, we must remain committed to laying emphasis on the family, family education and fine family traditions," Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed, during a Spring Festival reception, in 2015. A photo exhibition, with the focus on beautiful moments in families' lives, was held online recently. The exhibition was sponsored by the Chinese Women Photographers Association (CWPA) and China National Children's Center (CNCC). In all, 117 items, selected from 1,407 submissions, were exhibited on People.cn and CWPA and CNCC's websites. All of the photos were taken by children, who ranged from primary school students to high school students, from around China. The event's purpose was to record some great family moments, in children's eyes, to reflect the beauty and harmony of contemporary Chinese families, and to express children's love for their motherland, their families and their lives.
